The sun also wakes up all of our gardens and it truly is a beautiful site to see your yard transform from brown and bare to truly lush and filled with the brightest pinks, purples, yellows, and greens I have ever seen. In April Shilo and I planted our veggie garden in preparation for the spring/summer season and we are starting to see all of our little veggies sprout through. This year we have sugar snap peas, lettuce, tomatoes, basil, chives, cucumber, rosemary and Shilo's favorite, Sunflowers. In addition to that we are able to benefit from what has already been here for years past: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mint, pears, Plums and the best for last, cherries! We are looking forward to watching our garden continue to grow and as the weeks pass, the afternoons when we are growing hungry for a little sweet snack we can simply pick something fresh from our very own backyard!
